ClinicInfo provides an online service for doctor / patient communication.
The information we collect
ClinicInfo collects information from patients and doctors by various methods, primarily by information actively provided by them. Doctors set up patient access to ClinicInfo by inputting the patient’s name, email address, phone numbers, and date of birth. The Patient then obtains a login ID and password. The doctor or ClinicInfo may request or provide other authentication information. ClinicInfo may also collect information from your browser and place cookies for security and convenience reasons.
How we use this information
ClinicInfo uses this information for the sole purpose of providing the ClinicInfo Service.
ClinicInfo may use aggregate or anonymous information which will not be linked to identified individuals for various other uses for itself and third parties.
Doctors and patients use ClinicInfo for the communication of sensitive personal medical information. The privacy of such information is subject to doctor / patient privacy obligations. ClinicInfo will not access, use or disclose that information.
Who we share this information with
ClinicInfo does not share personal information with any third parties except as disclosed in this policy. ClinicInfo may provide personal information to its consultants, subcontractors and professional advisers (which shall be bound by privacy obligations) to assist ClinicInfo with the provision of its services.
Personal information is stored in electronic files. The transmission of information between the Service and the user is encrypted. Data stored within the service is password protected by security measures appropriate to the nature of the information. Email will be used to alert users that there is a message for them on the ClientInfo service, but personal information will not be communicated by email.
Individuals may review and change their personal account information online. Individuals and their doctors have access to the information they have placed on the service. Doctors have control over the content of messaging to and from patients.
ClinicInfo may amend this policy from time to time by posting an updated version on our website. If such amendments affect how ClinicInfo uses or discloses personal information already held by ClinicInfo in a material way, ClinicInfo will obtain consent.
